National Human Resource Development and Employment Authority (Tanmia) today announced its participation in the 1st e-career fair "Innovative Ways to Explore New Career Options" organized by Hamdan Bin Mohammed e-University (HBMeU). HBMeU, the leading university in the field of e-Learning and quality management in the Arab World, is the first University in the UAE to host such a prominent electronic event that is expected to have a positive impact on the local job market.

In collaboration with Saudi Post, the Saudi Commission for Tourism and Antiquities (SCTA) is organizing a workshop on online marketing of heritage and handicraft products (e-marketing). The initiative is a part of "A gift from Saudi Arabia" project, one of SCTA's initiatives aimed at marketing handicraft and heritage products that are produced by individual artisans, women associations and some craftcenters. Sahaab Aircraft Leasing leases four A320s to Virgin America |
|
Jazeera Airways Group today announced that Sahaab Aircraft Leasing (Sahaab), a fully owned subsidiary, has placed four Airbus A320 aircraft on long-term leases with California-based Virgin America, one of the fastest growing airlines in the U.S. This is Sahaab's first lease to a U.S. based customer and comes only a few months after the company was acquired by Jazeera Airways Group in February 2010. The contract is valued at $155m.

Sahaab Aircraft Leasing places A320 with SriLankan Airlines |

Jazeera Airways Group today announced that Sahaab Aircraft Leasing (Sahaab), a fully owned subsidiary, has placed an Airbus A320 aircraft on long-term lease with SriLankan Airlines in a deal valued at more than $20m for a placement period of more than six years. This is Sahaab's second lease to an international customer in the last two months, following the placement of four Airbus A320s to San Francisco-based Virgin America in a deal valued at $155m over a ten-year period.
